Secret message snuck out of Beijing

Getting news out of Beijing has been more trouble than I anticipated. Firstly Twitter and Facebook are blocked and secondly the Internet in my hostel, The Red Lantern House, will not connect to the Internet. I had installed some software to get around the block; however, it is pretty much useless without connexion.

All in all, everything is well and I'm getting used to everything while experiencing something new every day.

He one thing is that I haven't been able to adapt to the air. More about it soon.

    Basically Twitter and Facebook are non Chinese social networking sites and therefore are not as easily monitored by the "Internet Harmony Police" who like to censor any and everything them deem causing "disharmony". Youtube is also blocked as well as many wikias (even game ones sometimes… its odd what gets blocked).The air in Beijing is even worse than Seoul eh? I heard it was terrible out that way but never got to Korea yet. If you thought Beijing was bad, be glad you didn't make it to Wenzhou hahaha. Wait to visit me AFTER I'm settled in nice clean Xiamen.
